The basis of stroke rehabilitation is not to waste precious time! And the most important thing to remember is that the patient needs the love and support of others! The recovery process takes years: the patient has to relearn almost everything.
The goal is to study the rate of recovery of movement disorders in post-stroke patients using the prototype of the mobile application “STROKE HELP ”
During 2021-2023, we examined 214 patients with movement disorders who had a stroke at the Department of Neurology and Intensive Neurology at the Tashkent Medical Academy. The patients were divided to Left-sided patients - 123 (57.4%), right-sided patients - 91 (42.5%). The mean age was 64.8 + 1.1. We used the NIHSS scale in the acute period of stroke, and the FMA scale to monitor the dynamics of recovery. Neurological status of patients was checked 3 times: on 3, 21, 40 and 60 days. For stroke rehabilitation, emphasis was placed on the patient's family and relatives as the main motivators and supporters of the patient's recovery. We prepared the first multimedia prototype of an application for rehabilitation after a stroke in the Uzbek language “STROKE HELP ”. The patients were divided into 2 groups: 1group (gr) – those who used “Insultga Erdam”, 2gr – patients whose caregivers did not use the application for various reasons. According to the examination results, FMA indicators in patients with group 1 were significantly better by 30% than in patients with group 2 during the rehabilitation of movement disorders.
Conclusions. The use of the first proposed mobile application in the Uzbek language “Insultga Yordam” is effective in restoring motor disorders in patients who have suffered from stroke, starting from the intensive care unit.
