Everardo Tafolla III, OMS-III, is a third-year medical student at William Carey University College of Osteopathic Medicine. He is from South Chicago and through his experiences with underserved communities and limited healthcare resource availability grew his passion for medicine and for serving the underserved. His research interests include neurology, internal medicine, and patient-centered care. His current work focuses on the rare recurrence of autonomic variant Guillain-Barré Syndrome. Everardo plans to pursue a residency in neurology with the goal of providing comprehensive care and patient advocacy in underserved communities.
