Jaansi Patel is a 16-year-old rising senior from New Jersey attending Phillips Exeter Academy. Her past research experiences include working at the Computational Orthopaedics and Rehabilitation Engineering Lab at the New Jersey Institute of Technology for brain-computer interfaces, working at the Lewis Lab at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology for neuroimaging, and writing a paper on the application of radiomics to treat glioblastoma. She has previously won the International Research Olympiad, presented at the 2024 International Science and Engineering Fair, and won the USAID Science Champion Award for her neuropsychology and mental health research. Jaansi also enjoys running a neuroscience, medical technology, and health equity podcast.
