Biography
Lucas Yeung is an award-winning high school researcher who has conducted research with Nobel Laureate Eric Betzig at the University of California at Berkeley and with Dr. Bingwei Lu at Stanford University. At Dr. Betzig’s lab, Lucas uses super-high-resolution microscopy to reveal and decipher the structure and dynamics of living cells and tissues in unprecedented detail. At Dr. Lu’s lab, Lucas’s research focuses on uncovering fundamental mechanisms underlying the development, function, and maintenance of the nervous system. Lucas is a co-author on multiple manuscripts submitted to Science, Nature, and Cell to recognize his contribution to breakthrough research.
