Dr Thanisha Santhosh is a medical graduate and an aspiring neurology applicant to the Match 2026 cycle with a profound fascination and deep respect for all things neuroscience. She has extensive clinical experience in neurology both in her home country, India, and in the US. She currently works as a research trainee in neurology in a large tertiary care hospital in South India. As an early career researcher, she has published or has accepted papers in neurology and internal medicine in many reputed, peer reviewed journals. She is also involved in medical writing, dedicated especially to writing about medical humanities and highlighting disparities in access to health care in low and middle income countries. In her free time, Thanisha loves to travel, spend time with her many rescue dogs and write. Her poetry and prose have been featured in multiple international literature journals and poetry reviews.
