Dr. Yamane Chawa is an Internal Medicine resident at Hamad Medical Corporation, Qatar, with a strong research focus on neurology, stroke risk, and cardiovascular complications in systemic diseases. Her recent work explores ischemic stroke risk with CGRP-targeted therapies in migraine, and she has authored multiple peer-reviewed case reports, including publications in Circulation and BMC Neurology. Dr. Chawa has presented at national and international conferences and serves on the research committee of HMC’s Medical Education Department. She is ECFMG-certified, USMLE Step 3–qualified, and she actively mentors residents in academic development.
