Biography

Post-Acute Sequelae of SARS-CoV-2 infection (PASC), or Long COVID, while primarily a respiratory disorder can also include dizziness, lasting weeks to months in individuals who had previously tested positive for COVID-19. This study utilized gait analysis to assess the potential vestibular effects of PASC on the presentation of gait anomalies.  

Abstract

Avraham Adelman is a 2nd-year medical student at Charles E. Schmidt College of Medicine at Florida Atlantic University (FAU), in Boca Raton, FL. He graduated with a BS from FAU with a major in Exercise Science and Health Promotion. He is interested in pursuing a career as a neurotologist and continuing to do research in the field.
